Meet the Designer - Catherine Holbrook

Hi friends!!

I am SEW excited to join the Styla design team! This has been a dream of mine for years, and I feel so honored I get to share this experience with so many of you!

If we haven’t connected before, let me take a second to introduce myself. I am a Kentucky gal who discovered a passion for sewing back in 2014. My husband was in the first year of his 4-year long residency program in North Carolina, when I decided I needed a hobby. Christmas was just around the corner, so I asked my mom for a sewing machine. I swear it was love at first stitch! In the wee hours of the night, you could find me whipping up one-of-a-kind purses, pillows, baby toys, ect. I was having so much fun!

But, the thought of sewing clothing intimidated me. It wasn’t until January of 2019, after the birth of my second child that I started focusing on creating my own wardrobe. What began as a knack for refashioning garments from Goodwill, quickly turned into self- drafting my own patterns and sharing my sewing journey with others on Instagram. (@bringingsewingback)

I have experienced so many fun and exciting opportunities through sharing my love of sewing. However, becoming a Styla designer has to be my favorite yet. I cannot wait to show you all what I have up my sleeve.
