Snow White inspired Maui and Monaco swimsuit 

“Over the seven jeweled hills, beyond the seventh wall, in the cottage of the seven dwarfs, dwells Snow White, fairest one of all.”

Katy recreated the iconic Snow White costume as a princess inspired bikini using LLK's Maui sewing pattern for the top and the Monaco sewing pattern for the bottoms.

"As soon as I saw the puff sleeves on Maui, and that sweet bow back, all I could think of was Snow White." 

To bring this celebrated style to life, Katy added pleats to the sleeve caps instead of gathers. She used a coordinating blue fabric for the main pieces with a standout red accent on the bands and the bow center.

Katy finished the Snow White inspired suit with Monaco bottoms made with a banded waist and a ruffle. She pleated the ruffle instead of gathering the fabric, and used a yellow polka dot to mimic Snow White’s traditional skirt.

As soon as Tess saw the finished suit on my table, she squealed and begged to put on her Snow White 'swimmy' immediately!"
