Hey ya’ll!!

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my partner Travis and am a stay-at-home mom to two kiddos, Kaia (3) and Kieran (1). After I had my first baby, Kaia, I struggled with some postpartum depression and was seeking a new outlet to keep my mind busy while I stayed home with her.

I’d stumbled across the Little Lizard King group after stalking a few beginner sewing pages for a while, considering the thought of trying to learn to sew. I’d admired everyone’s sews for months and accumulated 19 LLK patterns before taking the plunge and buying a machine.

My first pattern was the Astoria playsuit made from a Goodwill upcycled sheet, and I was hooked on sewing, upcycling, and LLK from then on!

My aesthetic is pretty all over the place these days because i’m always ready to jump in and try new styles whether it be fabric or patterns. Sewing has really brought me out of my comfort zone and made my life so much more colorful.

I can’t wait to bring my spontaneity in styles to my pattern designs with with Styla.
