Peggy Sue Sew Along Day 5

Niina Kivelä

Guest blogger Natalie Hidalgo

Congratulations on making it to the final day!! I can’t wait to see your final pictures.  Threads and Stitches has a special prize for one of you!! In order to qualify, you must post at least one photo in the Little Lizard King Sewing Cafe, Peggy Sue Sew Along photo album of your progress. AND you must post a final picture in the Peggy Sue Sew Along album as well!!

Follow the instructions inside of the pattern for attaching the bodice to the skirt.  The only difference will be that the overlap will be larger.  We are adding button holes in place of the elastic cord and button.

-Once you have attached the bodice to the skirt, topstitch around the entire bodice.

- Measure 1.5 inches from where the bodice meets the skirt, make a mark with a fabric pin.  This will be the bottom of the 1 inch buttonhole.  Measure .5 inch from the top of the bodice, this will be the top of the top button hole.
